Download the Blue Zoom App
First download the Blue Zoom - A to B in 1..2..3 app. Create an account. Then go to 'My Fleets'. Type in your unique code (provided by your manager). If you are working for the NHS, in order to receive your unique code you must have requested one after receiving the communications email that was sent on 22nd April. After inputting the unique code into the 'My Fleets' page the vehicles will appear on the map for you to rent. (Your unique code can not be used by anyone else).
Find Your Bike Or Scooter
Locate the bike or scooter on the map and approach the vehicle with the Blue Zoom app open ready.
Unlock The Vehicle
Scan the QR code using your phone via the Blue Zoom app (the QR code is the white square with jumbled up dots). This is found underneath the bike or scooter handlebars. This will unlock the vehicle and start your ride. Alternatively, manually type in the vehicle number found on the QR code. E.g. BZ0128. For NHS workers, you rides will not cost you anything.
Enjoy your ride!
Have fun zooming around the city or campus on your bike or scooter! Leave your car at home or skip the bus and instead enjoy the electric thrills of cruising.
Finishing Your Ride
When you want to finish your ride, find a safe place to secure the vehicle. If you would like to park the vehicle overnight please park it either at your home or on your company's property. Once you are ready, press "End Ride" on the Blue Zoom mobile app. Then use the grey lever to pull the ring lock through the spokes of the rear wheel.
Lastly, Use The Steel Chain To Secure The Bike
Before leaving, please ensure to secure the bike to the ground. Take the cased chain (found on the back of the bike) and wrap it through the rear wheel, the bike frame and around a secure post in the ground (for example in a bike storage area). The ring lock must first be secured before the chain's pin will click into the side of the ring lock. Please ensure everything is secured before leaving. Take a photo or video if you have any issues and send us an email. Thank you! Have a great day!
